VANDAL HEALING GARDEN AND MEMORIAL

Moscow, Idaho - 2024

  • The Vandal Healing Garden and Memorial on the Moscow campus honors all University of Idaho students (aka Vandals) who passed away while they were enrolled at the University. As a permanent space for quiet reflection, remembrance, hope and healing, the Vandal Healing Garden and Memorial is open and welcoming for all who visit, year round.

Our community has found strength by leaning on fellow Vandals for support. Our mutual experiences and shared values have reinforced our bonds as more than just a student body but rather as a family that demonstrates our humility and care for one another. The Vandal Healing Garden and Memorial is an embodiment of that bond, empowering each user to engage in their own personal rituals of remembrance. The incorporation of intimate and shared moments of reflection and interaction will evoke a sense of security, foster hope, and provide a place that has a lasting presence on campus.
